FREE BRUCE FUND POLICY

Mission

The Free Bruce Fund was established in 2002 to offset the huge legal, investigative, expert, and ancillary costs involved in overturning the false conviction in Los Angeles County, California Superior Court Case No. A804566, People v. Bruce Lisker, and thereafter for helping to offset re-entry and subsistence needs.

Receipts and Outlay

The Free Bruce Fund is sustained entirely through non-refundable gifts of less than $10,000.00 each.  The Fund shall be utilized in strict accordance with the mission statement above.  A nominal service fee may be paid to the Fund's caretaker.

Death Provision

In the event that Bruce Lisker predeceases (i.e., dies before) his release from custody, assets remaining in the Fund shall be donated to Amnesty International in his name.
